Life time Memoirs 3

Now about a fortnight had passed since school had begun and though I didn’t show but I was totally pissed off with her being in my group all the time and I had to share each and everything with her…… why??? Because she was part of my group!!!!!!! After a month when I was totally sick of her presence I went up to Kavita mam and asked her to just take her away from my group. But she said, see Mahen I can’t just remove her from your group because you don’t like her, you have to understand that your group likes her and the only reason why you hate her is that she beat you right on the first day, by answering more questions than you did, tell me if I am wrong. So you have to try and adapt to her presence before it’s too late and you lose your place in your group. As a matter of fact actually Kavita mam was totally correct, I was a bit jealous and insecure towards her at that moment because she had been too intelligent for the first day of the school so that raised some issues in my mind. Well, still no one enters into a group created by me just like that, but she had given me a check and mate there too because she had done it with in a snap of fingers aaaarghhhh!!!!!!! That is the only thing that pisses me off the most.

While about 10 days before the summer breaks, Kavita mam announced a class test and that test shocked us, it was an all subject test and the results were Priya – 98%, Mahen(me) – 91%, Mansi – 88.6%, Shivani – 86%, Dj – 83% and Abhi was at 81.7%. I mean her and 1^st rank!!!!! That was the most heartbreaking thing that she had outdone us all, especially me!!! A 7% lead, now that is termed as ‘humongous’. She was enjoying the rank that was mine till a few days ago……

Now another heartbreaking scene; my friends had come to three conclusions about her –

 (i)            She had broken our pride.

 (ii)           She is a topper too.

 (iii)          This means she is welcomed to join our elite group!!!

Now this meant trouble for me because, after this incident she had got the total acceptance of my total group except me. I was like, what the hell was going on? How can she qualify the standard of being a member of my group?? How can we be ‘elite six’, it doesn’t even sound that good……. Yuck!!! I was simply pretending to enjoy the ongoing celebrations of my group but in fact I was feeling like I was the sole tiger of a hill and now suddenly from nowhere a new tiger had pranced in and was enjoying the privileges of being me!!! There itself she was family, a wolf of our pack or may be like a lion of our pride or more apt shall be calling her a queen of our alliance. What and however I was awfully certain that this is going to have severe consequences and hence I was set to prevent it from happening, at least I was thinking like that.
